Insufficient humidity can make your skin feel dry and flaky because it depletes the skin of its natural oils. When severe conditions exist, the skin is prone to cracking and bleeding. Humidity usually leads to sweating and opens pores, allowing excess sebum, dirt and dead skin cells to accumulate and bacteria to multiply. As a result, acne breakouts occur.

 A. Know your skin type

 B. Keep it clean 
If you have sensitive, oily or combination skin, high humidity can make your skin feel worse. To get rid of excess sebum and blackheads and reduce breakouts, a non-comedogenic cleanser, such as Ice's Secret Oligopeptide Milk Cleanser, Water Rescue Oligopeptide Milk Cleanser or Pore & Glow Enzyme Cleanser, clears skin of all impurities. Oligopeptide Activating Essence will shrink pores, smooth and prepare your skin for serums and masks.  

 C. Hydrate daily Regardless of humidity levels, hydration is a must. It keeps your skin soft and hydrated in high humidity. In low humidity, it prevents it from becoming dull and dry.  D. Apply sunscreen 

Whether it's sunny, overcast or cool and cloudy, always use  sunscreen with at least SPF30 to protect your skin from UV rays—even if you’re outdoors for less than two hours. UV rays can pass through clouds up to 80% of the time. They also penetrate glass windows. That's why drivers have more dark spots on their right side than their left.  E. Indulge in weekly facials
